Richard Perine

USGTF Teaching Professional

Richard Perine is a Top 100 teaching professional. Richard has given hundreds of golf lessons to junior, seniors, college and high school players. Richard has served as the Head of Golf Instruction for Island Indoor Green Golf and at the Staten Island Golf Center located in Staten Island, NY. The Island Green Golf center is a center for golf excellence that Richard has setup utilizing cutting edge technologies such as K-Vest, Trackman, Video and other technologies to help students advance competitively. During the winter months, Richard teaches his students to prepare for competition focusing on the full swing, short game and mental aspects of golf.

Richard worked with Kelley Brooke of the NBC Golf Channel as an assistant instructor giving clinic instruction to golfers. Richard has worked Kelley on innovative teaching approaches (K-Vest) and has collaborated teaching High School students.

Richard has also served as the head coach of St. Joseph by the Sea High School Golf and has Won a NYC Championship and a NY State Championship for the first time ever.

Richard is a multiple tournament winner of the USGTF North East Regional teachers cup, having won in 2015 and 2018. He has been voted a Top 100 instructor for 2018/2019/2020 by the World Golf Teachers Federation.

Richard is currently on staff with the Callaway Golf Company, and is one of the Golf Teaching Professionals at the Hyatt Hills Golf Complex in Clark NJ where he works with students of all ages and skill levels. He is the head instructor for the New York City Junior Golf Program organizing lessons both on and off the course teaching over 112 kids. He also teaches walk-up golf clinics.

Richard utilize technologies such as Foresight GC2, Flightscope, K-Vest and others in his teaching.

Richard has earned a B.S. in Computer Science from the State University of New York.
